This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!
Sonda H.via GoogleTravis always provides excellent customer service. He listens to my concerns and answers my questions. He’s always on time. I appreciate and trust Travis
Susan M.via GoogleThe same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.
Greta L.via GoogleWe had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

The tech took care of the problem caused by the main office in Atlanta not relaying crucial information to him (our dog throwing up after the borax based granular bait application even though we kept her away from the area). He even came up with a reason for the problem (grain based coating causing her problems due to a grain allergy she has.) He made sure we had his cell number so we could call him directly with problems. I am happy with the local Orkin office and would not hesitate to give them 5's. But the main office is frustrating to deal with and I can't give them 5's for that reason.
via angieslistI would have recommended him for the service type that we had before but he apparently has left and decided to become and fire-fighter and the guy we currently have now claims 11 years of service, I don't find him as reliable, as communicative and they're not coming when they're suppose to be coming right now, in that, they're suppose to come late in the day so that we can let them in the house and treat the interior. It's now been a couple of months since he has come at a time when we could let him in and treat the interior, so not as happy with my service as I was used to. They've done a good job. They do come out reliably, they are responsive for a callback. So, if you really want them back, you can call them, they will come back at a time and work, so. The pricing is moderately expensive. I talk with the guy, he is a little bit talky. The first thing he did was remind me that they had 11 years of experience and then after that it was kind of like, well, you know, the other guy came out at 4:30 when we could let him in the house, when somebody might be home and he's called twice now, that's the night before, and said he's going to be out at 10 AM, nobody is going to be home to let him in the house, so the callbacks are going to be a problem. I really liked the other guy. And I have not had the chance to sit down with the new guy and there are a lots of crawlspaces in the house but I don't think some of them he even knows about.
via angieslistThe regular technician is very prompt and thorough. He has no problem answering my questions. Since having the regular service I have had almost no problem with ants and very little problem with spiders. The insulation in my attic was blown in and gives me an R90 (so I have told). I would recommend this comany to anyone else.
via angieslistThey have been wonderful. They always come when they say they will come and they always do what they say they will do. The guy that helps me is named Constantine. He is wonderful.
via angieslistThey are pretty good. They are not cheap or anything but overall, they are one of the best here. We had termites all over the house and they did quite a nice job. We don't have any more trouble with termites. They are the only ones we have used and I have never had any termite problems after they treat it. You get what you pay for.

on Rodent and Wildlife ControlSean Wilson is the only reason why WE have stayed with TERMINIX!!! His Professionalism, dedication, and high quality standards are superb!!! Always before he arrives, he gives us a heads up announcing he will be arriving 3 days in advance. of Once he arrives, he is prompt, let's us know he is fon the property and gets to work!!! If anything is out of the ordinary, he discuses it with my wife and I and allows us to make the decision to resolve the situation. Once concluded, he lets us know he's leaving and within the hour we have an email of exactly what he did and found while on the property. TRULY I say unto you, a man of his word, and a fantastic representative of TERMINIX!!! I'm glad Sean Wilson is our Technician!!!
Chavonti G. via googleThe Terminix Agent coordinated with me before and after completing the treatment around the outside perimeter of our house. He sprayed the foundation around the entire house and garage. He also threw down granular insecticide against the foundation and dusted behind the light fixtures and electrical boxes to remove any webs. Lamont Robbins
Lamont R. via googleI like how Jimmy always texts me before he comes for our home's quarterly treatment to keep the ants and spiders outside. That way we can communicate about any additional needs, like ant bait stations to use indoors. I can also let him know about access or plant issues. Sometimes I have him avoid the area where our rhubarb grows. My point of all this is to say that this level of communication is key to great service!
TJ M. via googleWe have always had great service working with Terminix for about 20+ years now. Sean Wilson our current and long term rep has been awesome. He is always on time, personable, respectful, and very responsive to our requests. I have referred Terminix to several of our friends and they as well have been very happy and continue to use their service.
Chris E. via googleThe service tech was friendly, and extra helpful when I informed him of a secret window under our deck that had been collecting critters and bugs. He found a solution to reach the window and help ensure a successful service and treatment until next time! Thank you so much!
Amanda H. via googleUnderstanding Pest Control Costs and Services in McMinnville, Oregon
For homeowners in McMinnville, Oregon, protecting their homes from pests is a year-round concern. The lush landscapes and seasonal changes bring a variety of pests that can invade living spaces, causing discomfort and potential damage. Understanding the cost dynamics and service offerings of pest control is vital to making informed decisions about safeguarding your home.
Pest Control Pricing Insights
When considering pest control services in McMinnville, homeowners should anticipate the cost to vary based on several factors, including the size of the residence, the degree of infestation, and the unique treatment methods required. Generally, for an average-sized home, ongoing pest control plans might range from around $40 to $100 per month, with initial service fees typically falling between $175 and $350. This investment in regular care can be pivotal in maintaining a pest-free environment over time.
Service Spectrum: One-Time Versus Recurring
Choosing between one-time and recurring pest control services hinges on the nature of the pest problem. A one-time service may be apt for an isolated incident, but recurring services offer consistent defense against potential infestations, with regular inspections and interventions keeping pests at bay.
Pest Protection: Covered Critters and Exclusions
A comprehensive pest control plan generally includes defense against household pests such as ants, roaches, spiders, and rodents. However, it is key to note that certain pests, like termites, bed bugs, and wildlife, often require specialized treatment plans and are not included in standard coverage.
Service Contracts: Commitment and Flexibility
Engaging with a pest control service often involves a contract. Some providers offer the flexibility to cancel services without penalty, while others might require a commitment for a specified period, typically one or two years, with potential fees for early cancellation.
The Guarantee: Assurance of Satisfaction
Providers typically extend a guarantee, offering additional treatments at no extra cost if pests reappear between scheduled visits. This commitment is a testament to their dedication to keeping your home pest-free.
Treatment Day: What to Anticipate
During a pest control treatment, technicians typically inspect and treat both the interior and exterior of the home. This can include setting traps, sealing entry points, and applying pest deterrents. Regular visits are designed to disrupt pest lifecycles and prevent future invasions.
Bundling and Add-ons: Maximizing Value
Homeowners can often benefit from bundling pest control services, such as combining termite and general pest plans for savings. Additional services like mosquito control can also be added to some packages for a more encompassing approach to pest management.
