This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

Orkin field service techs are good. Trying to reach someone by phone is near impossible. Their auto-scheduling and texting program is horrible.

I got quoted by Christian who was very polite and walked me through just getting what was right for my situation. The technician, Ian later came out and was also very polite. He got the job done fast. I got sprayed for bugs and rodents. Overall a good experience and it's obvious orkin is hiring trustworthy people.

When life gives you problems, it nice to know there are companys out there that are customer friendly. Heard sounds in my attic this morning early, able to phone Orkin then. The lady was so helpful and nice, explained everything we were doing and what would be done, in the very happy-go-lucky tone... made me feel so comfrontable. The service man called, I knew when he was coming. When he got here he was very professional-- but friendly. He did what he knew what to do, put stuff, sprayed stuff .... may sure I got my follow-up appointment before he left. Then the lady that made the follow-up appointment was another nice lady. Such a wonderfull experience-- for a rodent problem!! I am very pleased with Orkin.

I’ve been getting Terminix service for over 20 years as long as I had a home in Florida, Connecticut, or Oregon. Is one of my favorite service providers in any category. Terminix does a great job every single time, true professionals all the way, dependable and thorough.

These guys always have had impeccable customer service. I have used them for years. This is the one recurring service provider that we have that I can honestly say I’ve always been really happy with. Their customer service is phenomenal. Their office is always so friendly & any time I have ever had a concern, which is rare, the follow-up is almost immediate & there is ALWAYS an attempt to find resolve. Technicians are always very friendly too. Super happy with the option to text & discuss services rather than having to call. That seems trivial, but it’s much easier for me to multitask in my busy life while resolving an issue, discussing service options, &/or scheduling via text. I can’t say enough good things about this Central OR branch. It seems like the last few years businesses have been struggling to find/keep good employees & as a result their customer service is impacted. Somehow this branch hasn’t skipped a beat & has managed to uphold outstanding service through all the hardship businesses are going through. Additionally, they do not try to upsell you. There was a service I was interested in, but the technician did not believe my home was a good candidate for this treatment because it would have little impact based on my yard setup etc. Instead of just agreeing to it & taking my $, the technician explained why that particular service would not be beneficial for me. I appreciate that immensely. I definitely recommend them if you’re looking into pest control. 👍

Sean always does a great job of communicating after each service. I’m not always home but he will go out of his way to give me a call, send an email and full service report. Since I’ve been getting regular service each season I’ve seen a huge improvement with ants and spiders. When I first started a would see a colony of ants getting in every few days. Now I rarely ever catch any ants inside or outside. Sean has been great throughout the last couple years. Whenever I’ve reached out he is very responsive and gets back to me with a time he can come back out within the same week.

The service was very prompt and they were on time. The young man was very friendly kind and walked me through everything that is going to be taking place with the services. At first, I was a little hesitant, but they made me feel very comfortable with the service, and I am looking forward to continuing to work with these young men in the future. Thank you for your kindness, your act of service, And making me feel comfortable with everything.

Technicians are on time, polite, able to answer all my questions. Wear booties when they need to work inside and have great personable personalities. On top of the product they use being scent free. After just the first treatment we saw a major improvement. After the second we have seen nothing and we had major sugar ant issues. HIGHLY recommend this company

Amity C. via google

The gal explained everything so we understood. She let us know about add on services but didn't push for us to get them. We were able to choose what service we wanted with ease. We received a discount because they were doing other houses in the neighborhood. I really feel like we got a good deal. The product is pet safe too! I'm excited to not have ants and wasps visiting this summer.

Common Pests in Oregon

Oregon residents face a range of pest issues that can disrupt their daily lives and compromise their homes. One of the most common pests in the state is the black carpenter ant. These ants are known for their ability to cause structural damage by hollowing out wood. They can invade homes and establish colonies in wooden structures, potentially leading to costly repairs. Additionally, Oregon's mild climate makes it an ideal environment for rodents such as rats and mice. These pests can find their way into homes, contaminate food supplies, and spread diseases.

Another pest commonly found in Oregon is the yellowjacket wasp. These aggressive insects can build nests near homes and pose a threat to residents, especially those with allergies. Their presence can make outdoor activities like barbecues or picnics unpleasant and potentially dangerous. Lastly, bed bugs have become a growing concern throughout the state. These small, blood-sucking pests can hitch a ride on luggage or clothing and infest homes, hotels, and other establishments. Their bites can cause discomfort and itchiness, leading to sleepless nights and a decline in overall well-being.

To address these pest issues and protect homes, residents of Oregon are encouraged to seek professional pest control services. Trained experts can identify the specific pest problems and employ effective treatments to eliminate infestations. Regular inspections and preventative measures can also help in keeping pests at bay and maintaining a pest-free environment for residents.
