I also informed him of crickets and spiders.Blake is Very knowledgeable and efficient! Thanks for the excellent customer service!

Joshua came out and inspected our home and attic since we’ve had a daytime bat issue. He was on time and very professional. I would highly recommend them for future services!
Paul W. via googleI got a text from Brian this morning and I was very confused but wrong number. Still had amazing service don't currently need these services but when I do or know someone that does I'll recommend them. Very friendly service!
DSSD G. via googleMy husband and I appreciated the more humane approach to extermination and the time spent during the inspection to explain the treatment. I did have to call for extra treatment since our moles were still present after initial treatment but they did schedule and complete as promised. We’re in our 3 months of treatment with prevention and so far the problem is under control. All in all a reliable service with competitive pricing but everything paid upfront and no ongoing deductions to keep track.
Therese S. via googleA couple of squirrels gnawed their way into my attic. I contracted Critter Control and they responded quickly to set up service. The squirrels were humanely removed and all possible openings were sealed within a week. A short time later, my attic was fogged to take care of any potential critters that remained. A very thorough job with a warranty. Very pleased with the service.
Joanne T. via googleWe noticed a squirrel entering one of our roof eves and because a family member had recommended critter control we called them right away. The sales person came out and gave us a bid, indicating the work would take two to three days and they could have a team out within a couple of days. The price seemed high, but given that I can’t climb a ladder because of my disability, two or three days work for a crew seemed acceptable. A team of two young men showed up when they had said and spent a little less than 3 hours installing wire mesh over all of our roof eve openings and placing a one way the two eves that appeared damaged from birds and the squirrels, although the technicians said they didn’t hear or see anything in the eve. We had paid for 1/2 the service up front and were billed the remainder. While I’m happy to pay a fair wage, especially for services that I can’t do anymore, the six hours of labor and less than $100 of materials, seemed far less than the price and time the sales person had estimated. I called and was told a manager would call me back. I’ve been waiting about two weeks for a call back, but have only received another bill payment request and this request for a review. There is no local number provided on the website and the people I originally spoke with from their main office were not able to address the situation. The work done appears to be fine, but it’s up at the eves, so I can’t really tell the quality, time will tell if the squirrels or birds try to return, but it looks pretty good for now… the cost seems exorbitant compared to the labor and materials though and the company seems too big to provide a response to my inquiry. I do hope we can come to an agreement on finalizing the bill. My attempt to reply by email to their billing request failed so now I’m hoping they reach back out to me.

The customer service from Hawx has always been exceptional. The service technicians are knowledgeable and professional. Connors Trader went the extra mile to make sure he listened to our needs regarding the ant problem we had. He did a wonderful job on our property.
Larry G.via GoogleJordan has provided the most complete service since I’ve been a client. He even sprayed on my deck, which no one else has done. If these are new directions to the techs, hooray. If not, he did the best service. Thanks for putting him on my route.
Sue B.via GoogleI would like to thank Jeff for doing a great job today. In fact, I would like to request him in the future. Y’all were supposed to provide service a couple of weeks ago, and your guy showed up without the equipment to service the inside of my house. To be honest, I almost called you to cancel my service then. Instead I rescheduled. Today Jeff did exactly what I signed up for, but too often you don’t provide. He sprayed indoors and out, swept my eaves for spider webs and took care of a couple of wasp nests. He did a great job. Thank you very much.
Rick T.via GoogleVery polite and wearing a mask (I appreciate that). Introduced himself and asked if any particular place was heavy with mosquitoes, I told him I work in my garage with the door open and he made sure to get that side of the house thoroughly.

Stephanie M. via googleMichael did the treatment today and he was awesome! Had a couple new problem areas and he quickly figured out where they were coming from, why they were there and what to do about it. Extremely personable and professional. Really likes his job and the company he works for so that says a lot to me. I've been using Aptive for several years now. My house is surrounded by thick forest and since using them I can weed the flower beds and move edging stones without ants erupting everywhere. Very refreshing. Only insects that make it into the house are the flying ones and they don't live long! Thanks, Michael!
Shawn L. via googlePros: This last rep was pretty sharp! He helped me understand the ends and outs of the season what to look for, what to get rid of that might attract pests. Was easy to talk to, sent pics of his work all before he left my driveway. Very clean, informative, service given. Cons: Didn't catch his last name or TECH ID# to ask if I could have JUST him come out moving forward. I also wanted to make sure he's recognized as a great tech. His name was super regular "Michael" probably a bunch of guys there with the same name. ?
Chris C. via googleJarvis the service technician came to our house this morning and did an excellent job. I am very happy with the service I received from him and am giving a 10/10 rating! I am looking forward to having him service our property in the future and would highly recommend him to others. Jarvis was professional and friendly and did an excellent job. Thank you Jarvis.
Jeanette M. via googleUnderstanding Pest Control Costs and Services in Florissant, Missouri
Homeowners in Florissant, Missouri, looking to protect their homes from unwelcome invaders such as pests and rodents will find that the costs and services for pest control can vary widely. Factors influencing pricing include the size of the home, level of infestation, frequency of service, and the specific pests being targeted. Generally speaking, an initial pest control visit might range from $175 to $350, with subsequent monthly fees for average-sized homes falling between $40 and $100. These prices are reflective of a comprehensive approach encompassing assessment, treatment, and ongoing monitoring to maintain a pest-free environment.
Pest Coverage Essentials
When selecting a pest control service, homeowners should be cognizant of the pests included in their plan. Most plans typically cover a range of common household pests like ants, cockroaches, spiders, and rodents. However, it's important to note that certain pests, such as termites, bed bugs, and wildlife, often require specialized treatment and may not be included in standard plans. Before committing to a service, clarify which pests are covered to avoid unexpected issues down the line.
Service Commitments and Agreements
Many pest control companies require a service contract, which may span a year or more. These agreements often include a set number of visits and sometimes offer the flexibility to cancel with varying conditions. It's critical to understand the terms of the contract, any penalties for early cancellation, and the scope of services provided to ensure it aligns with your needs.
Satisfaction Promises
Pest control companies frequently offer guarantees, assuring homeowners that if pests return between scheduled visits, additional treatments will be provided at no extra cost. This peace of mind ensures continuous protection and demonstrates the company's commitment to solving your pest problems.
Treatment Day: What to Anticipate
On treatment day, expect a thorough inspection of your home, both inside and out. Technicians will typically treat common problem areas such as the kitchen, bathrooms, and entry points around the home's perimeter. Effective treatment may also include sealing gaps and cracks to prevent future invasions.
Package Deals and Extra Services
Bundled services can provide cost savings and comprehensive protection. For instance, combining general pest control with termite or mosquito services often results in a discounted rate. Additional services, such as tick control, may also be available, enhancing your home's defense against a broader array of pests.
Targeting Specific Pest Challenges
Specialty pests that require targeted solutions, such as termites or bed bugs, may not be included in general pest control plans. If you're facing an infestation of such pests, seek out services specifically designed for these more challenging invaders.
