This is my second home using Western Exterminator. I've been a customer for over 20 years. My service is every other month on the exterior - front and back yard. I have had the interior done maybe 3 times! Occasionally I've had a little ant problem in the backyard but it's always due to the weather. They have always taken care of any issues, even if it's between my normal service! They've come out at no extra charge. Very reliable company, very good employees!

The same exterminator came by that I have worked with in the past. He was very nice. He checked an additional area in the house to make sore out wasn't new damage, it wasn't. He was very professional and pleasant.

Greta L.via Google

We had a personable efficient tech today. But the previous 3 appts were cancelled causing us to question continuing with this company. We’ll see what happens with the next appt.

Stanley, my specialist, is very professional and knowledgeable. I appreciate him taking the time to explain how things work with bugs, because it's good to know the enemy. He also took care of my wasp nest with a swiftness that earns him even more respect than his job knowledge. I felt that Stanley was protecting my home as if it were his own. Thank you, Stanley. You have earned 5 stars for yourself and another 5 stars for your representation of the Orkin name. I can't wait to see you again and to see the end results.

We like working with Matthew. After Malachi left Matthew was assigned to our house. He is very polite and wants to solve our ant problem. He is.thorough and nice to work with. He is good at follow-up which we appreciate (not very many people are like this these days). We’ve been happy with Orkin (Everett Office).

G C. via google

The technician providing our first treatment was very friendly, polite, and professional. As were the staff members I worked with in their office over the phone. So far, I have had a very favorable experience working with Orkin and would recommend their service to others without hesitation.

Nicholas M. via google

We needed Orkin to come back again after seeing more yellow jackets. The tech, Judge, came out and thoroughly sprayed a higher-potency spray around our house and on the roof. He was very nice and got it done quickly.

Sherri E. via google

I've been a customer with Orkin for about a year now, and today I had the BEST Experience EVER with one of their techs. I literally hope they can be my tech every time now because of how awesome they were. Stuart in Everett is the best! His friendliness and care with putting my mind at ease was truly top tier. I wish everyone was as kind as him! Stuart deserves a raise! :)

Alan Bunting did a thorough job in treating my yard. I have gophers, moles and voles. He contacted his manager for a specific treatment plan for my yard. I appreciated his concern.

Dorothy L. via google

Critter Conteol has serviced my property for many years, controlling a rodent problem. They have done a good job but I have noticed a decline in the level of service lately. They used to let me know when they were coming but stopped. I mentioned it to them and I did get a notice last time. The last visit, though, the tech could only find 3 of the 6 stations they themselves put out. At one time they had a diagram but I guess no more. So they only did half the job this month

Robert K. via google

Critter Control is responsive and professional. Kudos to the support staff.

Craig J. via google

Had a bat in my house, called to make sure we did not have more

Pete K. via google

Zac went above and beyond in helping relocate a Mama raccoon and her babies from under our deck and then enclosed it so wildlife won’t be tempted to take up residence again. It took a bit to get scheduling coordinated but once they were onsite, they did an outstanding job!

Ben from Terminix did my service today and as always he did a fabulous job. He is always friendly, and very thorough and complete on all surfaces inside and outside of our home. I’ve had several types of pests including wasp and yellow jacket nests outside the house and Sugar ants and carpet beetles inside the house. He always removes spider webs on the outside of the house and leaves everything treated for whatever pests exits! I can always count on him and I highly recommend him for any and all of your needs! ?

Jill B. via google

I've been using terminix for over a year now and only have positive things to say. What makes them better than other local companies are there technicians. John has been my tech for quite a while now and he goes above and beyond trying to help us keep the ants out of the house. He is always on time (sends a text when he's on his way), very professional and it feels like he's on a mission to get rid of the ants which I completely appreciate. In the last month I've had two local companies knock on my door with a very hard sales tactic. I feel like when I tell them I use terminix they even go harder. One company said that they could get rid of the ants using a natural spray. After that come and I realized this person knew nothing about the West Seattle ant issue. I highly recommend terminix and if you're lucky enough to get John as your tech you will thank me.

Aleca M. via google

Once over-the-phone booking issues were resolved to capture a workable appointment date, the on-site technician (Deshawn) was professional and excellent! Very confident in his continued support for my bundle service.

Pat C. via google

Jon showed up on time and was very thorough with his work. He was very polite and explained everything he was going to do, making sure I understood both the service and the products used.

Andrea G. via google

Andrew Serles has been my Terminix technician for five years now. He is knowledgeable and professional. He does a thorough job of pest control at my facility and takes the time to answer and educate me on questions I have. He knows the chemicals he uses and applies them safely (I have dogs!). I have had other technicians come out , but they are not as good as Andrew. Andrew is used as the person who trains new technicians too.

Aptive is the best in its class of business. I appreciate their fast service and honest execution of promised treatment. I am able to have hard conversations with them and confront both the service guys and their route manager whenever I felt the service missed something. They would get 5 stars if I could depend on one guy doing the service.

Joseph and Jesus did a great job explaining all that was expected. I'll see them next month. I put up siding today and they took removed the hornets nest before I got started. Very quick and professional. Ryder just completed the second treatment, all is looking good.

Understanding Pest Control Costs and Services in Everett, Washington

Homeowners in Everett, Washington face a range of pests that can invade living spaces, causing discomfort and potentially damaging property. Determining the cost of professional pest control services is an essential step for those looking to protect their homes. Generally, pest control pricing is influenced by factors such as the home's location, size, degree of infestation, and the chosen treatment plan. On average, residents can expect an initial service fee ranging from $175 to $350, with monthly plans varying between $40 to $100. These fees encompass a variety of treatment methods designed to target common household pests effectively.

Pests Included and Excluded

Residents in Everett can expect a standard pest control plan to cover a range of common pests such as ants, spiders, rodents, and cockroaches. However, it is important to note that not all pests are included. Typically, honey bees, termites, and certain types of wildlife are excluded and require specialized treatment plans. Before finalizing a service, homeowners should clarify which pests are included to avoid surprises later on.

Understanding Service Contracts

Typically, pest control services in Everett may involve an annual contract, providing regular inspections and treatments over the year. Homeowners have the flexibility to cancel services, often without incurring a penalty, ensuring that they are not locked into a long-term agreement if their situation changes or if they are not satisfied with the service provided.

Service Guarantees

Most pest control companies offer a guarantee, reassuring homeowners that if pests return between treatments, additional services will be provided at no extra cost. This guarantee underlines the company's commitment to keeping homes pest-free and provides peace of mind to customers.

Treatment Expectations

During a pest control visit, technicians will typically perform an inspection of the home, identify areas of concern, and apply treatments to target pests. This may include sealing gaps, applying chemical or natural solutions, and setting traps. The goal is to disrupt the pest lifecycle and prevent future infestations.

Bundling Services and Add-Ons

For additional savings, some pest control companies in Everett offer bundled services that combine general pest control with termite or mosquito treatments. Add-on services such as tick control or bed bug treatments are also available, allowing homeowners to customize their protection plan to their specific needs.

Specialty Pest Treatments

While general pest control plans cover a wide array of pests, homeowners may occasionally encounter issues with 'specialty pests' like termites or bed bugs. These pests typically require separate, dedicated treatment plans due to their unique behaviors and the difficulty of eradication.

These products are specifically designed to target and eliminate termite infestations, providing homeowners with protection against these destructive pests.

Can mice infestations occur without visible droppings?

Expand

Yes, mice infestations can occur without visible droppings. Mice are nocturnal creatures and may not leave droppings in areas that are easily visible. They can hide in various spaces, such as walls or ceilings, where droppings may not be immediately noticeable. It is important to look for other signs of infestation, such as chewed wires or shredded materials, to confirm the presence of mice.

Is it easier for bugs to infest dirty homes?

Expand

In Everett, Washington, the cleanliness of a home does play a role in pest infestations. While bugs can infest any home, dirty homes may provide more favorable conditions for pests to thrive. Regular cleaning and proper sanitation practices can help reduce the risk of infestations by eliminating food sources and hiding places for bugs.

Does using rubbing alcohol eliminate the infestation overnight?

Expand

Using rubbing alcohol alone may not eliminate an infestation overnight. While it can be an effective contact killer for certain pests, such as bed bugs or certain types of insects, it may not eliminate the entire infestation. For a comprehensive solution, it is recommended to consult a professional pest control exterminator in Everett, Washington, who can assess the situation and provide tailored treatment options.

Should I be worried if I see roaches in areas that were treated by the exterminator?

Expand

If you see roaches in areas that were treated by an exterminator in Everett, Washington, it is advisable to be concerned. It may indicate that the treatment was not completely effective or that there are other areas of infestation that need attention. Contact the exterminator to discuss the situation and seek further treatment if necessary.

Can I just vacuum items instead of washing them after bed bug treatment?

Expand

After bed bug treatment, it is not recommended to solely vacuum items as a substitute for washing them. While vacuuming can help remove some bed bugs and their eggs, it may not eliminate all of them. Washing items in hot water and drying them on high heat remains the most effective method to ensure complete eradication of bed bugs.
