The customer service from Hawx has always been exceptional. The service technicians are knowledgeable and professional. Connors Trader went the extra mile to make sure he listened to our needs regarding the ant problem we had. He did a wonderful job on our property.

Jordan has provided the most complete service since I’ve been a client. He even sprayed on my deck, which no one else has done. If these are new directions to the techs, hooray. If not, he did the best service. Thanks for putting him on my route.

Sue B.via Google

I would like to thank Jeff for doing a great job today. In fact, I would like to request him in the future. Y’all were supposed to provide service a couple of weeks ago, and your guy showed up without the equipment to service the inside of my house. To be honest, I almost called you to cancel my service then. Instead I rescheduled. Today Jeff did exactly what I signed up for, but too often you don’t provide. He sprayed indoors and out, swept my eaves for spider webs and took care of a couple of wasp nests. He did a great job. Thank you very much.

Rick T.via Google

Very polite and wearing a mask (I appreciate that). Introduced himself and asked if any particular place was heavy with mosquitoes, I told him I work in my garage with the door open and he made sure to get that side of the house thoroughly.

Steven W.via Google

Montana was pleasant and most helpful in taking care of the service requested. We are happy and pleased with great service and the professional assistance given. SHB

Your appointment setting is a less than desirable process. I would recommend that you contact customers to set up appointments rather than automatically. I have also asked several times to have appointments scheduled for Monday late morning or early afternoon. This is not followed when scheduling appointments for my home. Your technicians are very professional and do a good job at servicing my home.

Robert H. I. via google

All of the treatment specialists are super kind, listen well and go out of their way to service our home and keep bugs away. We have LOVED Aptive & don’t have any issues with bugs or rodents anymore at all.

Amber H. via google

I've been very pleased with the actual pest service we've received from Aptive, but won't be continuing with them due to their customer service when it comes to contracts and scheduling. First, all the technicians who have come to our house have been thorough, professional and friendly. Top marks there. Scheduling is trickier. They send you a text announcing what day they're coming, but there is no timeframe whatsoever given. If you need to be home when the technician comes (to do the inside of your house, for example), you'll have to give them your entire day since you don't know when they might show up until 20 minutes beforehand. You can reschedule if you're out on an errand, but the next appointment might be weeks or longer away. It's a pretty inconvenient system. Finally (and the main reason we won't be continuing with Aptive), the contract you sign for services enrolls you in auto renewal, which you apparently cannot cancel until your contract is over. Every major service at least allows you to cancel auto renewal before your contact is up, but not Aptive. They told me I have to call their office on the last day of my contract to cancel auto enrollment in more service, and that makes me mad. I don't want a company like that having my credit card information. I feel like they're hoping I'll forget to cancel so they can take more money from me (a common practice, sure, but still a greasy one--no thanks). Fix this, and the inconvenient scheduling, and I'll be an Aptive customer again!

Leigh G. via google

I worked for Aptive in the Phoenix area so I was very familiar with the company. I’m new to Utah only lived here for a little less than 6 months but wanted to get pest control for my house. The tech Daniel performed my initial service and did a fantastic job. I wasn’t home at time of service but my wife was, he explained the service to me via text and to my wife upon arrival to our house. She said he was friendly and professional. Much appreciated and great job Daniel !

Jason L. via google

Daniel did an amazing job today. He arrived within the time scheduled. He went right to work after inquiring if we had any special requirements. He was very thorough, spraying around the house, the garage, shed and crawlspace. He made sure the Wasp nests were removed and the fire pit, which housed a lot of Wasps, was sprayed thoroughly. Even after 3 months since our last application, we have seen spiders and earwigs continue to die. Good Job Aptive ! ! !

Understanding Pest Control Costs and Services in Logan, Utah

Homeowners in Logan, Utah, considering pest control services are often concerned about the financial aspect and what the service entails. Generally, pest control services in Logan can range from monthly prevention plans to more comprehensive annual programs. Prices for these services typically vary based on the size of the home, the level of infestation, and the specific pests targeted. On average, homeowners might expect to pay anywhere from $40 to $100 per month for recurring services, with initial fees ranging from $175 to $350. Some companies offer promotions which can reduce the initial costs. Understanding the details of what these costs entail is crucial for making an informed decision about protecting your home from unwanted pests.

Pest Control Pricing Breakdown

In Logan, Utah, the price of pest control services hinges on several factors, including the square footage of your property, the intensity of the pest situation, and the type of pests that need to be managed. Homeowners can typically anticipate a monthly fee for general pest control services, which may include coverage for a variety of common pests such as ants, spiders, wasps, and rodents. The initial visit often carries a higher fee due to the intensive treatment and inspection required to start the maintenance plan on the right foot. This fee involves a thorough assessment of the property and an initial treatment to address any current pest issues. Promotions and discounts can sometimes be available, potentially reducing the initial financial burden for homeowners.

Services and Pests: What's Covered and What's Not

Pest control plans in Logan typically include a wide range of common household pests. These usually cover ants, spiders, mice, and cockroaches, among others. However, it is important to note that certain pests, like termites, bed bugs, and specific types of rodents, may not be included in the standard package and may require specialized treatment plans. Some companies also exclude wildlife and certain arachnids like brown recluse spiders from their general pest control plans. Knowing which pests are included and which are not is crucial before signing up for a service.

Expectations During Pest Control Treatment

When a pest control professional visits your Logan home, they will perform a detailed inspection of the property, identify potential entry points for pests, and apply treatments to targeted areas. Most companies use EPA-approved chemicals applied in a manner safe for both pets and humans. The initial treatment is typically more comprehensive, and subsequent visits focus on maintenance and any new pest activity.

Bundling Services for Savings

Companies in Logan often offer bundled services, combining general pest control with termite or mosquito treatments at a discounted rate. This option can provide significant savings while ensuring broader protection for your home. Add-on services, such as tick control or additional mosquito treatments, are also available and can be tailored to fit your specific needs.

Addressing Specialty Pests

While general pest control services address a broad spectrum of pests, Logan homeowners may sometimes face infestations that require specialized attention. For pests like termites, bed bugs, and wildlife, which are not typically covered in standard plans, pest control companies offer specific treatment programs. These infestations often call for a more focused approach, utilizing different techniques and treatments.

Choosing Between One-Time and Recurring Services

Deciding between a one-time treatment and an ongoing service plan depends on your situation. A one-time service can be an effective measure for dealing with a specific, immediate pest problem. In contrast, a recurring service offers continuous protection and preventative measures, reducing the likelihood of future infestations and often saving money in the long term.

The Skinny on Service Contracts

Most pest control companies in Logan require a service contract for ongoing maintenance plans. These agreements outline the frequency of treatments and often include a satisfaction guarantee. While some contracts may allow for cancellation at any time, others might have a cancellation fee. It's imperative to understand the terms and conditions before signing.
