I have a bi-level home w/ ENORMOUS WOLF SPIDERS in my garage that connects to my bottom living room, while we have not completely eradicated the issue yet, my reason for leaving a review is really about my technician, Dominique Day. He is amazing. He is so friendly, helpful, professional, and always on time. I think he deserves recognition from leadership. I will continue to use Ehrlich, even though we haven not fully resolved my spider issue, because of Dominique.

Second time using Ehrlich's. Rick was pleasant, personable and informative.

My service tech is awesome. He makes sure my home is pest free. Only thing I don’t care for is the scheduling tool they have moved to. Sometimes a 2-3 day notice isn’t the most convenient to schedule around. It would be ideal if when my service tech was leaving we could discuss a mutually convenient time to schedule ahead.

Patty P.via Google

We had Chris today who can by and he was so polite and great. Actually, all of the people from your company that came by were excellent! We also had another guy named Darrell that came by a few months ago and he was just so knowledgeable and just a great guy! Please let them know that they did a really awesome job! Thank you!!!

If there were an option to mark 10 stars I definitely would mark all 10! Very fast, efficient, friendly, and thorough! Would highly recommend to anybody with any pesty nuisance around your home, big or small!

Jason was fabulous. He checked every trap previously set, got rid of one mice, sprayed the entire exterior and EXTERIOR, and THE MOSQUITO spray. This was the first time I have gotten the MOSQUITO spray although I was told that it's supposed to be done at least once per month.

Sammie F. via google

So thankful for the professional and effective work of our Orkin team! I have seen such improvement in the quality of our home with their help to safeguard against all creepies and crawlies. Would most definitely recommend! It’s worth everything for the peace of mind

Lee (Pest Tech) as patient and answered many of my questions. Very knowledgeable, was polite and friendly, and thorough within his work routine. He left a great first impression of the Orkin company during his service today and deserves recognition for being personable and professional. I don't normally leave reviews for anything, but will make an exception today. Hoping his efforts help resolve my pest issue.

All of their service reps have been very nice, very thorough and professional. They’ve done a great job being at the house when they said they were going to. They’ve done well the whole process.

I had a contract with them. Termite and pest control service. Doug Kitchen the one who I dealt with was very considerate. He made sure what he use for the pest and will not get into my vegetable garden. The pesticide did not contaminate my vegetable garden.

via angieslist

She was prompt, friendly, & polite. She went over the billing completely & offered us all the options. I believe she offered us the treatment options.

via angieslist

Jivarey was extremely professional, and I would recommend him to anyone. I had several concerns, and he went above and beyond to make sure my home was taken care of at a personal level. Thank you- I am very pleased!

Haley C. via yelp

They are good. I think they are very thorough, responsive, and the tech that comes out to service once a quarter is always available if I have issues that arise between treatments or service checks. Its been wonderful that is there is something that comes up that is unsettling that has to do with bugs, I've always appreciated that they are very responsive.

via angieslist

We made an appointment for a bed bug inspection and estimate. We hadn't been able to find bug ourselves (despite having bites) and so I wanted to be sure that the inspector was able to identify what locations were affected. The individual who came to the house said he didn't feel a need to inspect since we'd had another company come inspect as well. In discussing pricing, he focused on what the price and warranty would be if we signed up for an annual contract for unrelated pest services. The written estimate we got included several pages of details related to the services we did not request and minimal detail about the actual bed bug treatment that we were asking for an estimate for. They may be an excellent company if you want other pest control, but don't seem to focus on bed bug treatment.

Jordan has provided the most complete service since I’ve been a client. He even sprayed on my deck, which no one else has done. If these are new directions to the techs, hooray. If not, he did the best service. Thanks for putting him on my route.

Sue B.via Google

I would like to thank Jeff for doing a great job today. In fact, I would like to request him in the future. Y’all were supposed to provide service a couple of weeks ago, and your guy showed up without the equipment to service the inside of my house. To be honest, I almost called you to cancel my service then. Instead I rescheduled. Today Jeff did exactly what I signed up for, but too often you don’t provide. He sprayed indoors and out, swept my eaves for spider webs and took care of a couple of wasp nests. He did a great job. Thank you very much.

Rick T.via Google

Very polite and wearing a mask (I appreciate that). Introduced himself and asked if any particular place was heavy with mosquitoes, I told him I work in my garage with the door open and he made sure to get that side of the house thoroughly.

Steven W.via Google

Montana was pleasant and most helpful in taking care of the service requested. We are happy and pleased with great service and the professional assistance given. SHB

Sean is polite, communicative, and explains things well. He also remembers from one treatment to the next the items that are of concern and is good about following up on those. I live in a wooded neighborhood and have very few insect sightings since I started using Aptive!

Shannon R. via google

Cory was knowledgeable about our mice problem and put my mind at ease with my many questions. He set up numerous traps and also found where they were coming in at. I am happy with the service that was provided and excited to get these mice out of here. Highly recommend!

Teri L. via google

I started using this service a few years ago. I was skeptical. Since then there is a huge improvement in the number of insects making their way into my 1890 house. In the winter there hasn’t been any mice coming in thanks to the bait they set outside. I haven’t had the mosquitoes in the summer that use to keep me from enjoying my deck. They also treat my next door neighbors yard so I'm sure that also helps. The price is fair for what they do.

Dan H. via google

So I don’t usually go with company’s that go door to door. But they showed up offering pest control at the exact time my wife and I were talking about it, the price was reasonable and the info was solid, so I signed up. 3 years later we still have them and still use them, and they do excellent work. If the ants get too bad in the spring/summer they come back and treat again without question or any extra fee, they will come in and treat if we are around and want them to, and they communicate very well. Price is still very reasonable, too. M very happy with their service!

Devin K. via google

Rob was very thorough and professional. I appreciate the advance notice of arrival, the detailed explanations of the products/treatment, and the photos of the actual service. Aptive has been great the last several years and I renewed our service with no hesitation.

Understanding Pest Control Costs in Cincinnati, Ohio

In Cincinnati, Ohio, homeowners seeking to protect their properties from pests can expect a range of cost factors to influence the price of pest control services. The pricing of these services is not a one-size-fits-all matter. Factors such as the size of the home, level of infestation, and the specific treatment methods required all play a role in determining the final cost. Generally, for an average-sized residence in Cincinnati, the initial fees for pest control treatment plans may vary, with a typical range from a couple hundred dollars for the initial visit. Monthly maintenance plans often range from $40 to $100 per month, providing ongoing protection and treatment. These estimates encompass a wide spectrum of common household pests, but may vary based on the unique needs and specifics of each home.

Pest Protection Parameters

When examining pest control options, it's essential to consider the assortment of pests that a service covers. The average household plan in Cincinnati often includes protection against common culprits like ants, spiders, roaches, and rodents. However, residents should be aware that certain pests are not typically covered under standard plans. These can include termites, bed bugs, and certain types of wildlife, which often require specialized treatment. Understanding the coverage can help homeowners make an informed decision and select a plan that aligns with their needs.

Committing to Contracts

Signing up for a pest control service in Cincinnati might involve entering into a service contract. These agreements detail the frequency of treatments and the duration of service. Most companies offer flexibility with their contracts, including options to cancel without severe penalties. It's important for homeowners to review these agreements closely to comprehend their commitment and the provisions for service termination, ensuring peace of mind and clarity on both sides.

Solid Service Guarantees

An essential aspect of pest control services is the guarantee provided. Renowned companies typically offer a promise to their customers that if pests return within a specific period after treatment, they will deliver additional services at no extra charge. This guarantee reflects the company's confidence in their treatment plans and commitment to keeping homes pest-free. Homeowners can rest assured that their investment in pest control is safeguarded by such assurances.

Treatment Day Expectations

On the day of pest control treatment, homeowners can anticipate a thorough inspection of the property, both inside and out. Technicians usually target areas where pests are known to hide and apply treatments to critical entry points to prevent future infestations. The use of environmentally safe and EPA-approved methods ensures that the treatment is not only effective but also safe for the residents and pets.

Bundle Benefits and Additional Services

To maximize pest control efforts, Cincinnati residents might consider bundled services. These can offer comprehensive pest management while potentially providing cost savings. From termite inspections to mosquito treatments, these add-ons can be tailored to specific pest concerns, enhancing the overall effectiveness of the pest control plan. It's worth exploring such options to secure broader protection and value.

Specialized Pest Solutions

For those facing infestations of termites, bed bugs, or wildlife, standard pest control plans may not suffice. Specialized treatment plans are available for these more challenging infestations, employing targeted strategies to address these particular pests. It's important to consult with pest control professionals to develop a plan of action for these specific cases.

Comparing One-Time and Recurring Services

Choosing between one-time treatments and recurring services depends on the nature of the pest problem. If the concern is more isolated or infrequent, a one-time service may be sufficient. However, for ongoing issues or prevention, recurring services provide consistent treatment and monitoring, ensuring long-term pest control and prevention. Homeowners should weigh their situation carefully to decide the most appropriate and cost-effective approach.
