I have a bi-level home w/ ENORMOUS WOLF SPIDERS in my garage that connects to my bottom living room, while we have not completely eradicated the issue yet, my reason for leaving a review is really about my technician, Dominique Day. He is amazing. He is so friendly, helpful, professional, and always on time. I think he deserves recognition from leadership. I will continue to use Ehrlich, even though we haven not fully resolved my spider issue, because of Dominique.
Keah P.via GoogleSecond time using Ehrlich's. Rick was pleasant, personable and informative.
Cindy L.via GoogleMy service tech is awesome. He makes sure my home is pest free. Only thing I don’t care for is the scheduling tool they have moved to. Sometimes a 2-3 day notice isn’t the most convenient to schedule around. It would be ideal if when my service tech was leaving we could discuss a mutually convenient time to schedule ahead.
Patty P.via GoogleWe had Chris today who can by and he was so polite and great. Actually, all of the people from your company that came by were excellent! We also had another guy named Darrell that came by a few months ago and he was just so knowledgeable and just a great guy! Please let them know that they did a really awesome job! Thank you!!!

on Rodent and Wildlife ControlMy wife and I are becoming increasingly frustrated with Terminix's automatic billing system. Last year we accepted Terminix's offer to pay for two years of service at a guaranteed rate. This year we received several letters saying that if we didn't pay for this year's service that we would lose our coverage. When we called and reminded them of the offer we accepted we were told that we would only have to pay the increase for this year. We again told them about the guaranteed rate and they finally relented. In Aug we again received another bill for one year's service. We called again and were told that we are covered for the next 12 months and that "hundreds" of customers had the same problem. On Monday of this week week received another Terminix bill for the next 12 months, but this bill was only for the annual increase. We called Terminix again and were told that that issue had been resolved in May, 2024. This is the middle of Sep, and we are still being incorrectly billed 3 1/2 months after the mistake was "resolved". We have no problem with the Terminix service and have no problem with their customer service personnel. But their automatic billing process needs to be fixed.
Michael M. via googleTRISTON HORST is the example of a very bad customer service. I am giving a 3 because 1 of the techs that I have had was wonderful. He called at least 24hours in advance and said what time he was coming. But when I called because I was seeing a large amount of ants in my house they changed my techs which was a horrible thing to do. they never showed up, they would text 50mins before saying they were coming. The 1st time though never texted or anything but they said they spent 3 hours at my house and the guy said oh nobody was home which there was someone home all day. Then I called I told them he put a work order in for being there for 3 hours and never showed up. The 2nd time he texted 55 mins before he was coming well that is great notice right people do work where was the 24 hour notice. The 3rd time he did the same which he said I made the appointment which I never called because I got tired of wasting my time. That was on Friday August 2nd 2024 I told them never send this guy again because he is unreliable and is basically stealing company money by putting work orders in but not actually doing the job. I asked for my original tech. Which he came today 8/6/24 and he called yesterday and gave a 24hour notice. He is a great tech. The other one on the other hand he needs to learn how to do his job he is being paid to do. Again by the way the tech I'm talking about his name is TRISTON HORST
Lavenia T. via googleZach from Terminix was friendly and knowledgeable. Took less than five minutes to put me at ease even though he stood to gain nothing or make any sales. Will definitely call him if I ever do have a problem!
Sam S. via googleBroc is great! I was home during the last vist and got to talk to him about concerns. He provided great info and went above and beyond to treat our house.
Ashley T. via googleI'm coming up on one year with Terminix. We plan to renew because my wife has not seen a bug, a mouse, or a carpenter ant in months. Peace in the house! In addition to the effectiveness of the service, all staff is very knowledgeable.
Jeff S. via googleUnderstanding Pest Control Costs in Lancaster, Pennsylvania
When considering pest control services in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, homeowners can anticipate an array of pricing options contingent on the type of service selected. For general pest control services, which may include treatments for common invaders such as ants, spiders, and roaches, prices typically range from $40 to $100 per month, with initial fees falling between $175 to $350. Pricing fluctuates based on factors like the size of the property, the extent of the infestation, and specific treatment techniques. Recurring services often come with a lower monthly fee following the initial visit, providing continuous protection and peace of mind. Homeowners should be aware that these costs can vary, and obtaining quotes from several providers is recommended to find the best value.
Pest Coverage
When signing up for a pest control plan, it's essential to know which critters are included in the service. Standard plans typically protect against a range of common pests, such as ants, cockroaches, and mice. However, insects like termites, bed bugs, and specific types of ants like carpenter ants may require specialized treatment plans not covered under basic services. Some plans also exclude outdoor pests like ticks, mosquitoes, and wildlife, which may require additional coverage or a separate service.
Contracts and Commitment
Pest control companies in Lancaster may require homeowners to commit to a service contract, often spanning one year, to ensure effective and long-lasting pest management. These contracts generally outline the frequency of treatments, the types of pests covered, and the responsibilities of the pest control provider. Homeowners should thoroughly review these agreements to understand the terms, any cancellation policies, and potential fees for early termination.
Satisfaction Guarantees
Many pest control providers offer guarantees to back their services, ensuring homeowners that their pest problems will be addressed satisfactorily. These guarantees can include a promise to re-treat the property at no additional cost if pests reappear between scheduled visits or even offer a money-back guarantee if the problem persists. It's a sign of confidence in the effectiveness of their treatment plans and provides an added layer of assurance for the homeowner.
Treatment Expectations
During a pest control treatment, professionals will typically inspect the property to identify problem areas and entry points. They may apply treatments both inside and outside the home, targeting areas where pests live and breed. Homeowners can expect the use of approved pesticides and possibly non-chemical methods like sealing cracks and gaps to prevent future infestations. The goal is to not only address current pests but also to establish barriers to deter new ones from entering.

Enhancing Protection with Add-ons
For those looking to reinforce their pest defense, many companies offer additional services that can be bundled with standard pest control plans. These add-ons might include termite inspections, mosquito treatments, or tick control, often at a discounted rate when combined with a general pest plan. These services can provide comprehensive coverage and can be particularly beneficial during peak pest seasons or in areas prone to specific pest issues.
