Zach has been our go-to service provider at Orkin for at least 3 years now (maybe 4-5 years). He is professional, punctual, knowledgeable, communicative, effective and efficient. Thank you for all you do Zach, you make Orkin a great choice!

I highly recommend Orkin. I received excellent service from the time I placed a phone call and scheduling an appt the next day 6-11-2024. Andrew Williams, the inspector and Joey Morrill, the exterminator explained the who, what, when and how. They were very professional and work well together as a team. I was called by Joey to give me an estimated time and I was notified through text upon the arrival. They completed job in a timely manner and left with a smile on their faces. I would highly recommend Orkin to family and friends. Thank you Orkin!

Joseph M. Was great. I had a wasp nest starting to grow on the outside door jam. And he got rid it with no hesitation. Let me tell you the story of Joseph M. the wasp slayer. It was a mild morning and the air held the fresh sent of grass after nighttime rain. I groggily made my way to the door wondering who could be ringing my doorbell at the ungodly hour of 9:00am. I open the door to what seemed to be an unassuming man with a cheery bearing. I got my first insight then into the grizzled veteran that lay just below the surface as he spoke. With a hoarse gravelly voice he said “ Hey I am here with Orkin, sorry about how I sound I went to a concert…”. I lost all track of the fowling conversation as I saw what he said for its truth; a line to put me at ease like that of a first responder in the middle of a crisis. I believe that even then he sensed what was lurking near by. Coming back to myself I hear “… is there anything else I can do for you today”. I looked nervously to my right where an evil creature even now lay in wait listening… plotting and said “ yea can you get rid of this wasp nest? There is a single wasp living on it”. This took no small amount of courage, as we all well know wasps wake up everyday and choose violence. So hearing the words “yep I’ll handle it” shocked me to my core, knowing that on the inside Joseph must have been battling his baser instincts screaming for him to flee the chitinous demon. But as I closed the door I once again caught a glimpse of a battle harden warrior; his face placid and his demeanor nonplussed as Joseph bravely faced down what was likely his final foe. Knowing that I had surely sent a man to die in my stead I latched the door and did the only thing I could. I fled. I am not proud of my actions but in the face of such a harrowing situation I had no other choice. Time passed. All eventually went silent and my coward’s heart allowed me to peek outside to see what fate befell Joseph M. At first I couldn’t believe what I saw. But after talking in the battlefield. A lone figure stood untouched in white coveralls, his face pointed skyward reflecting on what I am sure must have been an unspeakable struggle. Breaking the stillness of the moment, I asked “Did you get it?” And he replied “Yep, I got it”. As the white van pulled away moments later I was left with one thought. “ There goes my hero Joseph M. Wasp Slayer.“

Kevin came to our house and was informative of the process and explained how the treatment works and how it is safe for homes with children and pets. He also was patient to answer all of my questions as a mom of two toddlers and we are very satisfied and happy that we chose Orkin.

Jordan has provided the most complete service since I’ve been a client. He even sprayed on my deck, which no one else has done. If these are new directions to the techs, hooray. If not, he did the best service. Thanks for putting him on my route.

I would like to thank Jeff for doing a great job today. In fact, I would like to request him in the future. Y’all were supposed to provide service a couple of weeks ago, and your guy showed up without the equipment to service the inside of my house. To be honest, I almost called you to cancel my service then. Instead I rescheduled. Today Jeff did exactly what I signed up for, but too often you don’t provide. He sprayed indoors and out, swept my eaves for spider webs and took care of a couple of wasp nests. He did a great job. Thank you very much.

Rick T.via Google

Very polite and wearing a mask (I appreciate that). Introduced himself and asked if any particular place was heavy with mosquitoes, I told him I work in my garage with the door open and he made sure to get that side of the house thoroughly.

Montana was pleasant and most helpful in taking care of the service requested. We are happy and pleased with great service and the professional assistance given. SHB

Understanding Pest Control Services in Cary, NC

When it comes to safeguarding your home in Cary, North Carolina from unwanted critters, understanding the pricing of various pest control services is essential. The cost for pest management can vary, influenced by factors like the size of your property, the degree of infestation, and the pest control plan you select. Typically, homeowners can expect to pay an initial fee, which may range between $175 to $350, followed by monthly charges for continued prevention and treatment. Monthly costs generally fall between $40 to $100, on average, for a standard pest prevention plan. This investment in pest control services can provide significant relief, ensuring your home remains a sanctuary free from pests.

Service Expectations During Treatment

When enlisting the help of a pest control service, homeowners should anticipate an initial inspection of the property to identify the extent of any infestation and points of entry for pests. Following the assessment, professionals will implement a tailored treatment plan. This often includes sealing off entry points, applying pesticides where necessary, and setting up traps. Regular follow-up visits are scheduled to monitor and adjust treatments, keeping your home consistently guarded against pests.

Pests: Included and Excluded

A standard pest control plan typically covers a comprehensive list of common household pests. This usually includes ants, spiders, roaches, mice, and more. However, it is important to note that not all pests are covered. Specialty pests such as termites, bed bugs, and certain rodent species may require additional, targeted plans. Wildlife control is also not generally included and may necessitate separate services.

Contracts and Cancellation

Pest control services often come with an annual contract, though many companies offer the flexibility to cancel at any time. This ensures that homeowners are not locked into long-term commitments and can adjust their service as needed.

Multi-Services Discounts and Add-Ons

Many pest control providers offer the opportunity to bundle services for savings, such as combining pest and termite control. Add-on services like mosquito treatments are available for an additional fee, allowing for a more comprehensive pest management approach.

Specialty Pest Solutions

For pests that require specialized attention, such as termites, bed bugs, and extensive rodent infestations, pest control companies typically provide targeted treatment plans. These plans are designed to address the unique challenges presented by these more resilient and potentially damaging pests.

Recurring Service Benefits

Choosing a recurring pest control plan has its advantages, including ongoing monitoring and preventative measures. This proactive approach can help detect early signs of infestation, making it easier to manage and eliminate pests before they become a significant issue.
